OUR LODGE
Avalanche is an on-snow family friendly lodge in the heart of Perisher Valley offering a small and intimate home like atmosphere with stunning views of Perisher.
The advantage of our location, just on the rise of a slight incline, is the ability to ski down the road to your first ride up the mountain, in the peak of the season.
With a maximum of 18 guests
For your comfort our lodge is fully non-smoking. You can only utilise our lodge facilities if you are a member, or are referred by a financial member. This ensures your stay is safe, friendly, informal and most importantly (on a ski vacation) relaxing.
Our Rooms
All our 9 guest rooms can configure for either 1 king or 2 twin beds with ensuite facilities. (maximum of 2 persons per room – over 5 yrs old.)
All linen is supplied including towels, pillows, linen and quilt covers.
Each room has self-thermostat heating controls, individual televisions and wireless internet access.
Our lodge rooms are close by the living and dining space to allow for little heads to rest close by while parents relax over a glass of wine by the open fire.
Dining Room / Lounge Room/ Bar Area
We have an open plan dining room, lounge and bar area with an open fireplace. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy an after ski drink with nightly Hors Oeuvres before dinner.
The small bar area is to bring out your inner bar-tender, mixing up a well earn't drink at the end of a long day. The bar stock is BYO.
Complimentary self serve tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water, biscuits and fresh fruit are also available in the dining room.
TV Room
There is a separate TV room for kids to watch movies… or for adults to catch the football game of the season on a brand new LCD widescreen television from comfy new couches. Complimentary DVD’s, books and games available to guests.
Ski / Board Room
There is dedicated area at the entrance to the lodge to secure your ski’s and boards after a long day on the mountain.
Drying Room
Dry your snow gear overnight ready for more snow action tomorrow
Toboggans
The lodge also owns toboggans for the little ones and sits on top of a small hill ideal for those too young to ski (or who want to re-live their inner child) to play safely in the snow within the valley.
